Institute: Waseda Institute for Advanced Study ( WIAS ), Waseda University, Japan WIAS was established in September 2006 to enable promising and talented researchers t o focus on their research activities under fixed-term contracts in a rich research environment . At present, around 30 researchers at WIAS are performing advanced research on a wide range of themes, with no limitation regarding field of study .
